Michael Page is helping a Manchester-based provider of music products and solutions find a full-time Golang Developer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.In this Golang Developer role, you will contribute to building a complex micro-services cloud platform that supports a rapidly growing list of client brands and devices.

Job Description

In this role, you will make a significant impact on implementing the next generation of cloud-connected experiences for musicians and sound engineers. Your tasks will include:

  • Contributing to system architecture design, programming, unit testing and system integration
  • Writing decoupled and testable software
  • Using infrastructure as code for deploying infrastructure components and documenting your services in a way that can easily be consumed by others
  • Dedicating time to research and prototyping activities according to business demand.

The Successful Applicant

This role requires experience with building micro-services and container-based applications running on Kubernetes. The team uses mainly Go, JavaScript, TypeScript and React but knowledge in other languages might be relevant as well. You will need to write clean code and test it effectively.
